HI Gray I have some convenient stores in the country and it is really hard to get any hvac/r technician here, I am 110 miles away from Dalla s and getting tech from there cost me more on traveling time and millage than the real repair so i went to school for hvac training and completed it but I don't have any hands on experience and one of the stores for the walk-in cooler I am installing a new heat craft unit. Please post some video or give me some instructions in detail to install it to get the optimal performance out of the unit.

I will be doing videos on walkins and reachins but it seems I am running out of time. However, I will get to it as soon as I can. The first on my agenda is a reaching cooler so it will be first.

Do you know where to get the starting capacitor in the Grundfos UP15-42F pump motors. I found one of my motors not starting up, but when I tore it down everything looks fine for the impeller and motor moves freely and I found when powered if I give the impeller a kick start spin then it takes off. If I stall it out by hand then it needs a kick start again. Everything is smooth in its rotation so I am guessing the starting cap is bad.

I'm elated that I found your blog and I have a question. I've been watching your videos/tutorials for about six months now. I say video/tutorials because I've learned so much that I can't thank you enough. I know that some of your videos were made months even years ago, but I've learned so much in these last few months that to me they could 've been made yesterday. They are truly timeless. I really, really want to thank you for opening my eyes about hvac sooner than I would've learn through trial and error these valuable technics.
My questionis:
My friend installed a new 13 seer R22 2 ton goodman air handler and a 2 ton heat pump last year. This year it started to freeze up. After defrosting I started to recharge system because it was low (low side 50 psig). As soon as I tried to recharge the low side started to ice up right away. I noticed that as I was adding refrigerant it was ok, but when I stop to check gauges it would start icing up immediately. I also noticed that it acted like a restriction because it would take charge but gauges wouldn't go up (fact: because of refrigerant on scale just like your videos shows). Also, I recoverd, flushed with nitro, pull a deep vac and recharge twice to no avail. I also noticed that when I recovered the refrigerant the accumulator would sweat profusely. I replaced the control board thinking it was sending mixed messages from air handler. Advice and suggestions greatly appreciated and if you need more info please let me know.
